Windsor of Ocala Promotes Brenda Pickard to Sales Director

Legend Senior Living^® has announced the hiring of Brenda Pickard as Sales Director at The Windsor of Ocala. Pickard has worked for The Windsor as a Sales Associate, providing tours, interacting with potential residents, and outreach into the community.

After 18 months of success in that role, the promotion is a natural progression to expand her responsibilities. “Brenda has had a great start meeting goals prior to her promotion as Sales Director,” said Residence Director Marty Roberson. “Brenda always puts customer needs at the forefront – she listens to customer and wants to assure their needs are responded to swiftly.”

“Working in senior care brings me such joy and fulfillment,” Pickard said. “Having parents who are now in this age category, it is a reality that aging comes quickly and how we need to value the time we have with them. Seniors have much to share, and if we take the time to listen and provide them the opportunity, the wisdom they’ve gained over the course of their lives can be so insightful.”

In addition to sales, Pickard will assist with marketing, events, and outreach in the community. “One of my many responsibilities is to build relationships with those in the residence to enhance and expand our referral network.” She added that another essential responsibility will be to plan special events held on-site that will allow people in the Ocala residence to see first-hand what the Windsor has to offer.

Pickard wants to achieve more than maintaining 100% occupancy at The Windsor. “My goal is to be a resource for people within our community,” she said. “I want them to feel they can reach out to me for information, assistance, and guidance regarding senior care, whether or not The Windsor is the best fit for them.”

Pickard said it is important that her personal beliefs and philosophy align with Legend Senior Living’s mission and values. “The Windsor of Ocala has become a part of my family. They put the needs of our senior population first, while providing for the quality care physically, mentally, and spiritually,” she said. “Providing a safe, nurturing, and loving environment allows them to thrive and receive the care they need during the time they spend with us.”
