WICHITA, KS (DECEMBER 9, 2020) Donna Golliher, who has been Sales Director for The Windsor of Venice (FL), a Legend Senior Living® residence, has been named Corporate Sales Specialist for the Texas Region. Legend Senior Living is a Wichita-based company that owns and operates over 40 residences in six states.

“In her less than four years as Sales Director, she led two residences to 100 percent occupancy and thus named Sales & Marketing Director of the Year 2020 by the Florida Senior Living Association in August. In her new position, we plan to leverage her knowledge and skill set across the entire Texas region for Legend Senior Living,” said Derrek Schartz, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Golliher will work with targeted residences as a primary sales resource to generate move-ins, new leads, and ensure the sales process is fully implemented and executed. Her responsibilities will include developing sales strategy for individual communities, working with onboarding and mentoring, coaching and training new hires, and improving communication and sales processes.

“I’m very proud of our work and our team. I’m excited to expand my role over a greater area,” said Golliher. “I’ve loved working in senior living and helping families from the day I started in 2004. When I joined Legend and the Windsor community, I knew I had been blessed with a mission that perfectly aligned with my own, to serve the whole person. Serve the mission and success naturally comes with it. But there’s nothing greater than the satisfaction that comes from helping seniors and their families.”

Golliher has worked in senior living marketing for more than a dozen years, eight of which as area sales director of Legend Senior Living. After a brief hiatus from senior living, she returned to serve as Sales Director first in Lakewood Ranch (FL) and then Venice (FL).

“I won’t work for a company if I don’t have the same buy-in to what the bigger picture is. It’s good to be with a company where you are valued for your hard work and dedication,” Golliher added.
