Legend of Colorado Springs Names Reneé Schulz As Customer Service Associate for New Residence
October 12th, 2020 | Press Releases
Legend of Colorado Springs Assisted Living and Memory Care, a Legend Senior Living® residence opening this fall, has announced the hiring of Reneé Schulz as Customer Service Associate (CSA).
Schulz will participate in sales, including residence awareness, maintenance of outreach programs and residence organization relationships. She will conduct residence tours to prospective residents, family members and referral sources. A Legend CSA is typically the first contact that prospective residents and family members have with the community.
“Our Legend CSAs are really the outward face of the residence to the broader community. Our mission to serve seniors is paramount. Reneé’s customer relationship skills, her health care experience and her passion for the well-being of prospective residents are the perfect combination for the level of compassionate professionalism we require from our Legend Experts in Senior Living™,” said Karen Stewart, Residence Director. “Our standards for integrity, transparency and the willingness to find the best solution for residents are quite high, and Reneé’s qualities are exceptional.”
Schulz came from Crystal Lake, Illinois to Colorado Springs in December 2019. She had been the Personnel Coordinator for a grocery business, performing all HR functions. Her rich professional and volunteer history has seen her work with people of all ages and needs. She served as a CNA in several nursing homes, an assistant to autistic children in the mainstream school system, a home health aide to a paralyzed family member and the leader of a ministry program providing one-to-one care for those experiencing crisis situations.
“My life mission is to treat all people with dignity and respect. I shared in the lives of three, now grown, teenage foster daughters, and had the privilege to care for a handful of other younger children along the way,” said Schulz. She also has three grown sons, twin grandsons and a new granddaughter. Quite a dog lover, she’s “mom” to five year old twin Lab/Pointer puppies. “My broad range of interests – music, nature, gardening and bowling – give me many points of entry to relate to people.”
“We can’t wait to get started with our fall opening, and Reneé has already hit the ground running. Her energy and love of service is going to be a huge contribution to the quality of the community,” said Stewart.
