Legend of Colorado Springs will host a ribbon-cutting event to celebrate the opening of the welcome center. The event will take place Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 4-6 p.m.
Professionals from the area can learn more about Legend and what the residence will offer while enjoying beverages, hors d’oeuvres and desserts provided by the Picnic Basket, and networking with other local professionals. Speakers include Nora Hardin, Senior Vice President of Membership for the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce, and Karen Stewart, Residence Director.
“We’ll be a new business in the Colorado Springs community, and we want to get to know our neighbors and want them to get to know us,” said Debi Thomas, Vice President of Business Development for Legend Senior Living. “We’re excited to bring exceptional care and lifestyle to Colorado Springs and we want to become a resource for residents when they’re facing the decision of moving themselves or a loved one to assisted living.”
Legend Senior Living, a Wichita, Kansas-based company, owns and operates 41 senior living residences in six states. This is its third residence in Colorado. Construction began in early May and the residence will welcome residents in fall 2020.
The sales office for Legend of Colorado Springs recently opened at 2435 Research Parkway, Suite 205, and is now accepting appointments to learn more about the community, as well as deposits for select apartments.
