Florida Senior Living Association Names The Windsor Of Venice's Donna Golliher Sales Director Of The Year

Donna Golliher, Sales Director for The Windsor of Venice, a Legend Senior Living^® community, has been named Sales & Marketing Director of the Year 2020 by the Florida Senior Living Association (FSLA). The annual award recognizes an outstanding sales and marketing director of an FSLA member community.

“We’re incredibly proud of Donna’s being awarded Sales Director of the Year by the FSLA. She deserves it for more reasons than I can count,” said Kevin Colley, Regional Sales Director for Legend, in making the announcement. “As a director, she’s led her team to one hundred percent occupancy. Beyond that, as a compassionate advocate for seniors, she cares so deeply about the families she works with, she’ll do whatever it takes to help them. She always does so with a smile and the highest level of integrity.”

Golliher’s career in senior living started 16 years ago in central Florida, and she has worked in senior living marketing in the southwest region for more than a dozen years, ten at Legend.

“I’m extremely honored to be recognized by the FSLA,” said Golliher. “I’ve loved working in senior living and helping families from the day I started in 2004. When I joined Legend and The Windsor community, I knew that I had been blessed with a mission that perfectly aligned with my own, to serve the whole person. Serve the mission and success naturally comes with it. But there’s nothing greater than the satisfaction that comes from helping seniors and their families.”

The FSLA chooses the Sales & Marketing Director of the Year from among nominees from member residences all over Florida. The nominee must demonstrate leadership, good relationships with residents, provide exemplary guidance and innovation in a successful marketing program. The FSLA, headquartered in Tallahassee (FL) is a state partner of Argentum, the leading national association of senior living residences in the U.S.

“I can’t think of anyone I’ve ever worked with who better meets the standards for this award,” said Todd Formolo, Legend’s Area Director of Operations for South Florida, who has worked with Golliher for the past two years. “Her core values are unprecedented. I can easily say that Donna is the most dedicated person I’ve ever met in senior living. She gives every ounce of energy for the families she works with.”
