Welcome Center Now Open For Legend At Silver Creek Personal Care and Memory Care Residence
October 31st, 2022 | Company News
Legend Senior Living® has announced the opening of its Welcome Center for the new Legend at Silver Creek Personal Care and Memory Care residence in Harrisburg area. The office is located at 6375 Mercury Dr, Suite 103 in Mechanicsburg, PA and is now accepting reservations for new residents. Legend Senior Living, a family-owned senior living provider with headquarters in Wichita, KS broke ground on the Legend at Silver Creek residence in summer 2022 for a projected opening of July 2023. Legend owns and operates 43 Legend and Windsor residences in six states. Legend at Silver Creek, at 425 Lambs Gap Road, Mechanicsburg, will be its fourth Pennsylvania property.
The Welcome Center opening follows the recent appointment of Zedna M. “Zeddie” Neidig as Sales Director. Neidig leads the sales team that she is now building in anticipation of growing demand for senior living options in the area.
“We’re excited to have the Welcome Center open well in advance of completion,” said Neidig. “We’re now able to give prospective residents and their family members a detailed look at Legend at Silver Creek’s services and amenities and to take reservations for apartment floor plans. Legend at Silver Creek will be in the heart of Harrisburg’s beautiful West Shore and will serve area seniors with greatly needed, highly advanced personal care and memory care.”
The residence itself will comprise 88,000 square feet to accommodate 75 Personal Care apartments and 20 Memory Care apartments, along with dining venues, recreation areas, a garden and specialized rooms for such activities as physical therapy and advanced Memory Care therapy and programming. Apartments and the residence overall will advance the concept of “purposeful design” that Legend is known for.
“Legend at Silver Creek brings Legend’s more than three decades of Personal Care and Memory Care experience and innovation to local seniors,” added Neidig. “The Legend mission is to serve seniors with a focus on independence, dignity and living a purposeful life.”
