Sarah Bucher Joins Legend of Lancaster as Sales Director

Legend of Lancaster has announced the hiring of Sarah Bucher as Sales Director. The senior living residence is owned and operated by Legend Senior Living^®, which is based in Wichita, Kansas, and has 41 residences in six states.

Bucher earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Elizabethtown College and has been working in senior care more than eight years. “My time with our clients was limited, but I realized it was my favorite part,” she said. “I loved spending time in the residences we were serving and realized the piece of my job I was missing was that one-on-one interaction with the clients and their families.”

Bucher said she really enjoys working with the older adult population. “I find it very rewarding to be able to help someone through a transitional period in their life, especially something as big as moving into a new home” she said. “I hope to bring as much comfort and peace to an often times anxious situation.” Bucher said.

Bucher said she wanted to work for Legend Senior Living as soon as she read the mission statement. “That feeling was reinforced when I visited and felt how warm and inviting the residence is,” she explained. “It’s extremely important that my personal philosophy aligns with Legend’s mission and values. We all come from a different background, but it’s vital that everyone on our team is working toward the same goal.”
