Shelli Webster has joined Legend Senior Living as Regional Sales Director– South Florida. Webster will be responsible for implementing and executing the Legend sales process and providing training, development, and coaching for residences in the region. Legend Senior Living is a Wichita-based company that owns and operates 43 communities in six states, including The Windsor brand in Florida.
Webster comes to Legend from her position as a Sales Specialist for a major senior living provider. In her 15 years in the senior living industry, Webster gained experience as a sales coach and trainer, then regional sales director and VP of Sales for some of the country’s most notable senior housing and healthcare companies. Her skills as a senior living-based sales expert have placed her alongside C-level management, supervising sales teams, and creating broad-based strategic sales programs.
“The first thing Shelli mentions is her passion for serving seniors. When you combine that with her ability to innovate the sales process, her breadth of experience, and her tremendous track record of exceeding sales goals, you have a truly extraordinary team leader,” said Christy Van Der Westhuizen, Legend’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, in making the announcement. “We’re excited to bring her on board to oversee South Florida, one of our most significant markets.”
“I’ve long looked at Legend as an innovator and model of integrity in senior living,” said Webster, whose experience also includes several years in the home healthcare industry. “It’s an immersive profession, marketing as a senior provider, because there’s so much to know about senior health and lifestyle, and it’s relationship-based. Legend is leading the field in improving the quality of life for older adults, changing the aging experience. It’s the place where I can do the most good.”
“Shelli knows Florida, and her deep professional experience covers our breadth of service to seniors in independent living, assisted living, and memory care,” said Van Der Westhuizen. “She’s the model for Legend leadership in a rapidly changing market.”
