The Windsor of Venice Assisted Living & Memory Care, a residence of Legend Senior Living in Venice, Florida, announces that is has obtained a Deficiency Free Annual Survey from the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
AHCA is responsible for ensuring that assisted living residences comply with mandatory state regulations. These surveys are conducted on a no-notice basis and consist of evaluation of areas including policies and procedures, resident care, medication administration, medical records, kitchen sanitation, staff competencies, dietary needs, equipment, safety and overall wellness of the community.
“Receiving a Deficiency Free Survey confirms that The Windsor of Venice is doing an exceptional job, and providing residents the services and care they deserve,” states Legend’s Chief Operating Officer, Chris Mahen. Michele Thompson, Regional Director of Operations in Florida adds, “we are very proud of this achievement. We put the needs of residents first and we are committed to quality care. This perfect survey confirms this.”
This deficiency-free designation is one of many received by the Legend Senior Living residences, which owns and operates 36 residences around the country, including 10 in Florida. The Windsor of Venice is a two-story 84-unit licensed assisted living and memory care residence. The Windsor invites anyone to tour our community, request a copy of the state survey, and compare results with other assisted living communities.
