Legend Senior Living® recently broke ground on construction of The Windsor Assisted Living and Memory Care residence at 3605 NW 83rd Street in Gainesville, FL.
The two-story, freestanding Windsor will include 75 private one and two-bedroom Assisted Living apartments, and 20 private and shared suites dedicated for Memory Care. The innovative design, by HKS Architects, highlights stylish architecture and lush landscaping that supports excellence in healthcare, wellness, and hospitality.
The Windsor of Gainesville will offer residents a personalized balance of daily assistance and independence. The care model emphasizes sophisticated residential design and specialty programming developed to help older adults engage in rich and dynamic lifestyles. The Memory Care neighborhood combines thoughtful design to support the needs of seniors with cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Other amenities will include Oscars movie theater, enclosed courtyards and lanai, bistro for casual dining and snacks, elegant Gold Leaf dining in the Palma Sola, Harmony Day Spa featuring a therapeutic whirlpool spa, full service salon and massage therapy, formal and informal libraries and sitting rooms, and activity/fitness suites.

J. McLauchlin Company is the general contractor for The Windsor of Gainesville. Estimated construction completion is fall of 2017.
