Legend’s founder, Tim Buchanan, helped pioneer the senior living concept in the United States nearly 30 years ago. At a time when options were limited and institutional, he envisioned something better: a lifestyle built on dignity, connection, and purpose. Today, that vision is carried forward by his son, Matthew Buchanan, and a team committed to continuous innovation rooted in care.
