I moved my Mom in here last July, and the 9 months she's spent as a resident of the Windsor Community have been beyond perfect. I don't usually leave reviews but I have had such a positive experience with this community and want to spread the word to those with loved ones with dementia. From the quality of care, to the excellent food, the brilliant staff to the fun activities, the beautiful community spaces to the sunny courtyards: this place is truly perfect. My Mom was previously in a care home in the Phillippi Creek area of Sarasota that had good reviews online, but was completely inadequate in their level of care (my Mom actually escaped from the building not once, but twice). I ended up moving her out due to safety and serious hygiene concerns. I am so thankful I found Windsor! Windsor is like a whole different world. The staff at Windsor truly care about their residents, and it is evident in the friendliness of the staff, the spotless accommodation, the great health & wellness care, and the love and attention that goes into just about every part of Windsor's dining & activity program. Moving my mom in was super seamless, despite it being in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. The team at Windsor worked to get her room set up perfectly in a matter of hours and were very considerate in caring for her during the move-in process. When my mom arrived at Windsor she was a high-flight risk and was constantly exit seeking and anxious. Now, she's like a totally different person. Comfy, settled, well groomed, participating in activities, really listened to, smiling, and most importantly—happy. I currently live abroad, so total trust and confidence in the care home I picked for my mom was paramount. The folks at Windsor have gone above and beyond in every way. In an industry with a very high turn-over rate, the team here is in it for the long haul. Special thanks to Linda Doherty, the all-star Sales Director and front of house, for being a truly amazing point of contact that brightens everyone's day—and so much more. And thanks as well to Jessica, for being a super communicative and reliable Residence Director, and China, for being an incredible Health Care Director. I have utmost confidence and am so thankful for all of the hard work they put in every day! If you are looking for a memory care home that treats your loved one like family, look no further than Windsor Reflections.
The whole staff made our mom’s transition to the memory care as seamless as possible. Everyone great there! We are so happy she’s in a warm, caring environment.
I have toured this amazing memory care community and have referred them many times to our clients! The community is not only beautiful but designed to fit the needs and interaction of memory care residents perfectly!
My father in law has been at Windsor Reflections for 2 years now. The facilities are lovely. My wife is extremely pleased with the care he is receiving. Everyone from the sweet lady who cleans the rooms, the kind resident assistants, the supervisors, receptionists and other staff members are all cheerful and kind. The activities director is great. So many appropriate activities are scheduled every day including visits from musicians and children’s groups for various events. I think my father in law’s favorite activities are the art sessions , visits from puppies and the outside walks. The chef also deserves special mention for all the great meals he prepares including a monthly family night when all the residents‘ families are invited to attend a dinner with their loved one. The Director is extremely attentive to the needs of the residents and their families. We highly recommend this facility.
Our family was very blessed to have Windsor Reflections come into our lives, we had a difficult year with the loss of our mother and our dad's dementia intensified after the loss. We were unable to care for him at home due to the need for 24 hr watch. Windsor is an extension of our family, I know my dad has great care and they really treat each resident with such respect and kindness. The concierge medical service groups that support the Windsor family are amazing as well. Once again, it is because of the Windsor staff and leadership by Dennis and his team including Chris (Activities Director), Matt (Head Chef), Michael (Operations), Nykiea (Nurse and Admin/Office), Mildred (Nurse) and Terrika (Resident Staff) and all the support service staff that are there to support and care for our loved ones.
My wifes dad loves it here. Excellent care , friendly staff , very clean , they really make you feel at home. 10/10 , highly recommended.
Their staff was fantastically helpful even before we selected them. They have done everything they said they would and have quickly responded to any questions or concerns. The decline for our family member had been steep prior to entering Windsor and we were unable to get her to do anything. She has adjusted to the routine and her decline isn't as rapid as before. We're so thankful there is a place like Windsor. They are providing better care than we could at home.
I visited Windsor Reflections as my parents are in need of a wonderful place to live so that we can all be closer together. My first impression was how clean it was upon entering and the beautiful scent of fresh cut flowers. When its time for your family to live with support and care, you wish it to be a place where you have comfort in the crew, the other residents who may live there and the leader of the group. I was greeted with a warm welcome as if I was a VIP. I was offered a tea, coffee or bottled water before our tour. I have visited a couple places and have been a care giver for both Comfort Keepers and staff member at Aegis so I was even more attune to locating a place that I felt comfortable in caring for my family. When you are in the process of searching for a place for your family, you search for the right people who truly do care, will go above and beyond, listen, advise, be attentive to answer any questions, show their empathy and concern for the welfare of your family. I was in awe of how well I saw there staff treating the residents on the tour, and very impressed with how the staff related with each other. The Director Dennis really does have high regard for the residents and crew. His respect for both remind me of how chivalrous the folks in our military are. Strong caring handshake and taking the care of your loved ones very seriously. As I place my family into the trust of others, I want them to do just that. At this point I do not need to keep searching for a place. The only place for my family is with Windsor Reflections.
From the moment you walk through the front door, you know that your family member is going to be treated with compassion and respect. Everyone is so friendly. This staff is amazing!
Windsor Reflections has been nothing short of amazing for my mother-in-law. She was in a different facility before coming here last year and the change in her has been incredible, both physically and mentally. The staff here (every last one of them) make her feel like part of the family. They make me and my husband feel the same way when we visit. Dennis is on top of everything and if we have a question or concern regarding anything he responds immediately. Chris the activities director is a gem. Matt, the manager of the kitchen is outstanding and their jobs don't stop at their title, they pitch in and do whatever is needed. We feel so lucky to have found Windsor Reflections and recommend the place to anyone looking for memory care.
Facility staff are caring and invested in their patients' comfort and well being. I would recommend this place to anyone with memory care residential needs.
My mom moved into Windsor Reflections six weeks ago. It's a beautiful place, with high-end amenities and good staff. The director is excellent and right on top of everything. The food has been excellent. I have no complaints so far, and I would recommend them.
The staff there was great. They're very caring people, and they took excellent care of my loved one. They took an interest in the family as well. They were great with me and knew who I was when I walked in the door. They called periodically to check in with me and give updates. There was always someone around if I needed something or had a question. The care was excellent there, a lot better than another community he was at previously. It cost more, but it was definitely worth it. I wish I had found them years ago.
I love the way they take care of my grandpa and to the compassion they have for me and my family. If I can give this community 10 Stars I would.
Staff is very helpful and professional. Everyone does a wonderful job with the residents.
Excellent community Windsor Reflections is well staffed and takes great care of the patients. The surrounding area is super convenient for taking loved ones out to eat, for a walk, or ice cream.
The Windsor Reflections staff is very nice to my mom and they are taking very good care of her. She is content, healthy, clean and cared for. This is all we can ask! Thank you.
My wife has been a resident at The Windsor Reflections for 2 years and my sons are very happy with the quality and care. I highly recommended this memory care facility for your loved one. Its always clean and pleasant atmosphere and the activities for the residents are great.
This place is AWESOME. I placed both my parents in care at a different facility as one needed AL and the other dementia care, and they could be together there. When my father passed I began looking for a full dementia care facility that HONESTLY treated the whole person (high activity level, diet- the food is great - respect for the individual). They take her out for lunch, sightseeing on Fridays, there are monthly activities for the family to engage in, programs fro the family to help them understand how to cope, aid their parent or sibling. I can't say enough. I visited 10-12 before making this choice. It wasn't easy to move her from a place she was familiar with (adjust was behind in knowledge and ready to improve quality of life). Unless you think I just found a place to “dump my mom”, I drive 600 miles two times per week to stay close to my mom. Everyone working here is friendly, doing everything they can to make mom and my life as easy as possible. Love them all!!! [name removed]
My husband has resided here for 7 weeks. He is eating well, likes the staff and especially the activities. I like the fact that families are included in several dinner and parties. The staff and residents love our dog Charlie.
