My mother moved to Windsor in June and we couldn’t be happier. The staff is friendly, professional, and caring. We can’t say enough about how pleased we are knowing my mother is in capable loving hands.

My father has been at Windsor Of Lakewood Ranch for over a year. I can’t say enough about The Windsor. The staff has treated my father with kindness and compassion. They are very caring to the needs of my dad as well as the other residence. I would like to thank every staff member at the The Windsor of Lakewood Ranch for making my dad feel at home. They make you feel part of the family.

My parents moved to the Windsor in January 2021. We are extremely happy with the care they are receiving. The staff is professional, attentive and caring; the meals are great and the environment is beautiful and uplifting. It is wonderful to know that mom and dad are receiving the care they need.

I feel so very fortunate to have my mom reside at The Windsor of Lakewood Ranch. My family and I moved mom into her apartment at The Windsor in July 2020 (respecting their established Covid protocols) and it was the best thing we could have done for all concerned. Mom is happy there; she receives excellent care, and feels safe and secure. All staff members go above and beyond to best accommodate the needs of residents while considering residents' families in the mix as well. Finally, I can sleep at night knowing she is in good hands. My Mother has been at The Windsor of LWR for about 3 years. I guess because things run so smoothly there, sometimes we forget to give a “shout out” for those who go the extra mile. I thought I’d posted a review but seems I did it wrong! Anyway, we had to move my Mother to a smaller apartment and Beth was wonderful in helping make that even possible! But she’s a “hands on” leader and you know the job will get done and your family member member will be treated like “family”. This move came just after the Corona virus got cranked up- so I was unable to help pack anything or figure out what furniture, etc would fit. Joe, not only the head of maintenance and the zillion other “Hats” he wears... actually texted photographs of the new apt, sent measurements and helped me figure out what would fit in the new space. He and his assistant, Henry, not only packed EVERYTHING up but then they placed every item back where she had it - and I mean even her nightgowns were refolded and put away neatly! They reconnected her phone and TV, re-started her air purifier - EVERYTHING! And THEN Joe helped load excess tables, etc into my car. As if that wasn’t enough-Joe also went out of his way to find a place for furniture, etc we could no longer use. Who does that???!!! Joe always has his plate full, but anytime I’ve ever needed anything- his response is typically “consider it done”. I don’t worry about that task anymore because I know he will take care of it! We’ve been fortunate to have found a home away from home for my Mother. We all want the best for our parents -the staff at The Windsor has made that possible! Jennifer J Rodgers

My mom has been at Windsor of Lakewood Ranch for a year now so I am well qualified to write a reviews of good times before the pandemic struck and after. I loved it before thanks to the great staff, the care she received, and the facilities. There is a big reason why it has received best place to work several years in a row. The staff shows that by how the residents are treated. It is a mutual love. Now how it has been since the pandemic. The best word to describe how I feel is SAFE. Although I have not been physically in the same room as Mom for 6 months, I can rest easy knowing Windsor at LWR is doing everything possible to keep her safe and happy. Their protocols are excellent. The staff has worked above and beyond what would be expected during this time. Five days a week we normally get emails from the director letting us know what is going on. If you are thinking about Windsor of LWR, you won’t be sorry you chose. I looked at several places before I chose it.

The Windsor of Lakewood Ranch is so much more than I hoped for regarding my mother who moved in first of June in the midst of the pandemic. I'm impressed with how diligent they have been with keeping everyone safe and healthy. Everyone is very professional, caring, and kind. They are always so friendly and quick to get back to me. The staff really cares about each and every resident and gets to know them personally. They have been creative in ways to keep the residents engaged with activities. My mother is so happy there. She is coming out of her shell, asking for help, being as independent as she can, and engaging with other people and activities like never before. She has a new leash on life and it's all because of the awesome staff at the Windsor! Thank you sooooo much!

We toured The Windsor of Lakewood Ranch, and it was in a great location. They have a lot of things around them, probably a little bit unique in that they have a couple of restaurants literally within walking distance. They have a food store, and they have a Publix right around the corner. They're also in a residence called Lakewood Ranch, which is one of the top planned residences in the entire U.S, and they're in a really good spot, which is probably about ten minutes from one of the nicest malls in the Sarasota area. So, I would say, for somebody who is just living there as assisted, but wants to do things outside of assisted living, Windsor's in a great spot. Windsor has an activity director, they have nursing on staff 24/7, they have the theater movie room -- if you want to call it that -- they have a beauty salon, and a huge dining area. The area leading to the dining are set up almost like a house, they're set up with chairs. If people were to come visit you there, you wouldn't just have to say, "Well, let's go to my room." It's more like a home. We were able to meet with the sales director, the executive director, and their director of nursing, and it wasn't just a case of me sitting down, and them telling me about Windsor; they really wanted to know about my mom. That was different. They asked me a lot of questions about Mom, about her care needs, about her background. They were very interested in her as a person.

Our mother was in a facility up north but was not getting the care and attention we thought she should be afforded. We moved her to Florida to the Windsor and have been so very pleased with our selection. The staff are tremendous and not only are friendly and knowledgeable but genuinely care about the residents. The facility is well appointed and very homey. There are only 80 some residents so no one gets lost in the shuffle. We highly recommend this assisted living facility.

The Windsor of Lakewood Ranch is excellent. The place is beautiful. They have the best staff I have ever been associated with. It's a wonderful place and the people are very caring. The dining area is excellent. The services are excellent. I have had several meals there with my wife and they're perfect. My wife likes that they play Bingo and she goes to several programs there. I'm very impressed with this place. Anyone looking for a place couldn't do better because it's beautiful.

We have two friends that have moved to Windsor after frightening care at Inspired Living. Wow! What a relief it is for them to have such impeccable care! They're so happy and are so loving we cared for. The staff communicates with us closely and we sleep at night knowing our friends are safe and happy!

We could immediately see the high-level professionalism, and sincere attention given to Mom's needs as well as working by all the staff we met considering covid-19. We are particularly grateful to [names removed] who truly extended help by finalizing every detail and setting up mom's new home.

Absolutely amazing how I would describe the Windsor of Lakewood Ranch. My 93 year old mother has lived here seven years and she loves it! My mom thinks of the staff as family and her family knows our mother is well taken care of and loved by the devoted people who work there.

My brother and I recently were faced with having to move our Mother to a smaller apartment. What were we going to do? The COVID virus, finding a comparable place with equal care, for less money- lots of worry. I had no choice, so I called [name removed]. She got back to me with the news that she had ONE unit available. Wonderful! But how do I get her in there when I can’t even come inside? She said not to worry! They took my mother to see the apartment and she was very happy with it. Still, I had no idea how this was going to work. [name removed], the “man with the plan” who can get anything done, or anything fixed- along with his partner, [name removed]- packed up everything, (you cannot believe how much stuff you can get in a one bedroom apartment!) then moved her, put everything in its place, hung her clothes, set up her TV, and made her bed! My sincere thanks to everyone there- THAT’s the staff at The Windsor. I hope she’ll be there at least another three years!
