When I visited Legend, I was looking for a safe and “homey” place for my elderly Mother who suffers from memory loss and cognitive impairment. During these first weeks, the staff has gone above and beyond to make her feel welcome while getting to know her abilities and limitations. They have treated her with the utmost kindness - as if she were a member of their respective families. It seems we have indeed found a new home for her.

Definitely a top-notch facility. Dining room has a very nice appearance. Definitely not a cafeteria style. Food was very good as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When my Dad finally made the commitment it was a great comfort knowing that he would be at the Legend

We moved our Mom into Legends at Capital Ridge Assisted Living a little over two months ago and have had a wonderful experience with them. The entire staff is so friendly, caring, and helpful towards residents and their families. The facility is beautiful with spacious apartments that can be filled with the resident's favorite things to make it feel like home. It is a tight knight community, and the staff there knows everyone, which we really love. We would recommend Legends At Capital Ridge to anyone looking for a facility that truly cares about its residents, and their well-being.

A Perfect Home For Mother. We were very impressed with Legend at Capital Ridge during our first phone conversation with Julie. As we were vetting the facility, we kept thinking that “this is to good to be true”. Mom is in her second month living in her new apartment and she loves it. Legend continues to impress us. Selecting a facility and making the move in the age of Covid is a real challenge. Legend demonstrated strict but appropriate precautions to assure the safety of all residents and staff. Their commitment to safety is comforting. Every interaction that we have had with staff members has been positive. They have all gone the extra mile to help mom get settled and to make her feel at home. I enthusiastically recommend Legend at Capital Ridge.

My dad was at Legend at Capital Ridge, and it's extremely nice. We didn't get to really interact with the staff very long, but I met some really nice and very helpful people. The unfortunate part was he just really didn't get to take part in the amenities because he passed away after four days. When we went and visited about a month ago, we got there at the right time, so we could eat dinner. They served me a plate as well, and I thought the food was really good. It's pretty expensive (a little over $4,000 a month), but I think it was well worth it.

My tour of Legend at Capital Ridge went wonderfully, but my father progressed, and now he has to be in a nursing home. It was very clean and the people were very nice and helpful.

Legend at Capital Ridge was very nice, modern, clean, up-to-date, and had nice, small rooms. The staff was very good, showed us the various apartments that were available, explained what was available as far as the type of help that they can provide, and discussed with us the possibility of long-term care insurance and the help it might provide. She showed us the cafeteria and the snack bar area. She told us they had quite a bit of activities going on.

I did a tour with Legend at Capital Ridge. It is nice and it is pricey. They do a lot of things that I really like, but it costs $7000 plus a little bit more for the memory care. They have some hand exercises for them to work on and some activities to do. My husband is not very motivated to do anything by himself and the staff said they'll try and collect him for the different activities. On the other hand, I am not sure how much he would really do.I think to myself, "okay they have all of this stuff, but will he really use it? Is it worth two thousand more?" The staff member that gave us a tour was very informative. We looked at some other departments that were not in the memory care unit, but they seem to want to put him in memory care. The room in the memory care unit had a living area and a separate bedroom. It has enough space. Some roooms have full-size beds. His room had plenty of space for his belongings and a twin bed, which is what I thought I would get for him. They had a big sitting room and activities to do there. There were some women that were coloring and other options available that they can do to utilize their hands. There were several people in the common areas. The staff member told me that they don't let them spend all of the time in their rooms. They had about three people in the memory care unit. The place is really nice and I really like it, but I don't know if we can afford it. The place is wonderful and it does look like they have things for them to do. Another concern for me is that it is all the way across town. They had some rocking chairs outside and you can sit out there and relax.

This residence is a good facility, the staff is very caring and I would definitely recommend this facility. The room sizes are nice, my dad has a living room, kitchenette, bedroom, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. They an alert system in each room in case he needs help. They have a lot of storage space in both bedroom and the bathroom.
