The Windsor of Bradenton is working with two organizations to help make the holidays a little brighter for those in need. The residence will host Hope for the Holidays, a social mixer and donation drive on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019, from 2:30-5:00 p.m.

“It’s important for us to serve our residence and make sure that we are making a difference.” said Phil Scrivner, Sales Director.

The Windsor is accepting donations during this event. Food donations will go to The Food Bank of Manatee, while toy donations will go to the Marines Toys for Tots toy drive. Those who want to donate, but can’t attend the event, can take items to the residence located at 2800 60th Ave. W. in Bradenton.

Hope for the Holidays is a family-friendly event and will include hors d'oeuvres prepared by the chefs at The Windsor, as well as live music.

“We’ve been participating alongside Meals on Wheels for the better part of a year doing deliveries,” Scrivner said. “Residents of The Windsor enjoy residence service and it gives them a sense of joy to know they’re helping to improve the lives of others around the holidays.”

The Windsor of Bradenton is purposefully designed with the residents in mind. For memory care residents, the atmosphere is designed with all the familiar warmth and comfort of home. Common areas, beautiful outdoor spaces and activity areas provide opportunities for companionship, while well-appointed suites and secluded quiet rooms satisfy the need for privacy and personal space.
