August 7th, 2020 | Press Releases

Kimberly Crawford-Stokes has been named Sales Director for the new Windsor Pointe of Jacksonville, a vibrant, carefree Independent Living community. The newest senior living residence constructed by Legend Senior Living®, Windsor Pointe is scheduled for opening in 2021 and is now accepting reservations.

“Not long after I achieved a marketing degree and worked in finance, I discovered my true career working with seniors at Legend. I knew immediately that working with seniors was my direction and my passion,” said Crawford-Stokes. She joined Legend Senior Living as a Sales and Marketing Associate in 2013, followed by experience as a sales director, consultant and director of residence relations at major senior living companies, which took her all the way from Florida to Las Vegas and back. “I owned Stokes Senior Living Consultants in Jacksonville, which was a culmination of my years of experience in the business. This led me full circle to Legend. I’m excited to be part of the start-up of Windsor Pointe, back in a company close to my heart and in a residence that is a true advance in senior care and lifestyle.”

“Kimberly is driven by a passion to help seniors and their families navigate life transitions that are often challenging,” said Debi Thomas, Vice President of Business Development for Legend Senior Living.  “She’s uniquely equipped to help each find the best possible fit for their unique situations. She knows well the Legend approach to individualized care and has lived its mission already. We’re very excited to have her on the team.”

As Windsor Pointe Sales Director, Crawford-Stokes will work closely with her colleagues to ensure that their teams have the sales support and resources to offer residents and their families the best solutions for their needs.

“There’s no greater reward than to serve seniors. I’ve been given so much by the residents I’ve worked with that I look at my career as a way of returning something,” said Crawford-Stokes, describing her respect for the people she helps. “I believe you should love the work you do, so that every day you have purpose. Being raised by my elders to live every day by the Golden Rule has allowed me to work happily in the senior housing industry for over seven years. My focus has always been to be an ambassador for senior living. Whether it be focusing on the importance of socialization and lifestyle or health care and housing, I love being an ambassador. With Windsor Pointe, the Jacksonville area is getting a carefree Independent Living community. It’s a privilege to offer the most advanced care and innovative programs in Life Enrichment to area seniors. Love your work and you’ll never consider it work.”
